Data Sources for Custom Analysis

The data available to the Healthcare Analytics Solution™ is a combination of data sourced from diverse medical devices and systems. The Healthcare Analytics Solution™ is specifically designed to provide for the storage, retrieval, display and analysis of the very granular data generated by medical devices, especially physiologic data such as blood pressure, heart rate, or temperature; ventilator data and fluid administration. Physiologic device data may be stored, retrieved, displayed, and analyzed at the most detailed level available - most frequently at 30 second intervals from devices in the operating room and 60 seconds in the intensive care setting. The Healthcare Analytics Solution™ may receive medical device data directly from the device or from an intermediate medical device interface or data system. In addition to medical device data, the Healthcare Analytics Solution™ stores, retrieves, displays and provides for the analysis of data from other stores of electronic medical data and includes elements such as laboratory values, medication administration, operating room times, surgery performed, pre- and post- operative risk factors), and the discharge abstract (e.g. patient age, diagnosis, and discharge disposition). The Healthcare Analytics Solution™ can integrate data from any variety of medical devices or electronic sources providing that the source device or system can transmit or export data, and a common patient key exists.
